Notre Domaine
In 1947, FFrançois Bernillon established himself as a vineyard owner and winegrower on the heights of Mont Brouilly. In 1973, his son Alain took over the business and made the company prosper. Since 2015, the estate has been taken over by his daughter and son-in-law, Mariannick and Guillaume, who represents the third generation of winegrowers. The property extends today on 7 Hectares in the municipality of Saint-Lager. Our estate produces two Beaujolais wines: Brouilly and Côte de Brouilly.
Our vineyard hillside is well exposed and located on the southeast slope of the famous Montagne de Brouilly. The greatest care is brought both to the culture and the vinification. Our wines are made from a unique Gamay grape variety with white juice. The harvest is exclusively done manually and the harvest is meticulously sorted.
All the flavor, originality and quality of the estate's wines are the result of the know-how of a production elaborated in the respect of the soil combined with the oenological scientific knowledge, the techniques of production and transformation the most modern.
